Troubleshooting
Message Status and Solution
E04- * MEMORY READ ERROR
Contact service person
Status: Memory read error.
Solution: Turn OFF the power and then turn ON again in
a few seconds. If the same message remains
displayed, take a note of it and contact our
service person.
E05- * MEMORY WRITE ERROR
Contact service person
Status: Memory write error.
Solution: Turn OFF the power and then turn ON again in
a few seconds. If the same message remains
displayed, take a note of it and contact our
service person.
E07- * 24V POWER SUPPLY
ERROR
Contact service person
Status: Power supply voltage (24 V) is not output.
Solution: Release the
emergency stop switch
.
Close the
front door
and the
top cover
.
Turn OFF the power and ON again in a few
seconds. If the same message remains
displayed, take a note of it and contact our
service person.
E08- * TOUCH PANEL ERROR
Contact service person
Status: Touch panel error.
Solution: Turn OFF the power and then turn ON again in
a few seconds. If the same message remains
displayed, take a note of it and contact our
service person.
E09- * MAIN I/O COM ERROR
Contact service person
Status: Communication error in the DC-618.
Solution: Turn OFF the power and then turn ON again in
a few seconds. If the same message remains
displayed, take a note of it and contact our
service person.
NO DOCUMENTS
Set Documents on feed tray.

Status: No document on the
feed tray

Solution: Load documents on the
feed tray
and press the
STOP key.
J02- * CHECK FEED TRAY
Feed tray overloaded

Status: Too many documents are loaded on the
feed tray
.
Solution: Remove the overloaded documents so that the
height of the document stack does not exceed
the MAX level. (There is an indication on the
right side of the feed tray.) Then, press the
STOP key.

J03- * FEED ERROR
Remove documents from feeder.

Status: A document jam has occurred in the document
feed section or the feeding section.
Solution: Remove the jammed documents from the feed
section or the feeding section and then press the
STOP key.

J04- * CHECK CCD SECTION
Remove documents from CCD
section.

Status: A document jam has occurred in the CCD section.
Solution: Remove the jammed documents from the CCD
section and then press the STOP key.
