To provide for the correct setting in the sewing direction, the cutting
knife (1) should be in a correct position against the cutting edge of
the bottom replaceable knife so that any contact is avoided of the
cutting edge of the upper knife with the retaining part (7) in front of
the knife.
Attention!
The cutting knife must not run out over the throat plate with its tip, or
strike the bottom of the recess in the throat plate.
