Step 1 – Connect the CBC to the SM65
Connect the CBC(s) to the rack communications port (XS11) of the SM65
supervisory module (see diagram on page
2 for location) as shown in the
following diagram.
A (9V DC, 400 mA) power supply output is available from this port.
Depending on the load demand from the rack communications bus, an
Auxiliary Power Module (APM) may be required to boost the available power
of the rack communications bus. (See application note AN0020 to determine
whether additional power on the rack communications bus is required.)
