The Ethernet network connection supports simultaneous communications.
Modbus TCP is always enabled on port 502.
BACnet IP, if enabled, is on port 47808.
BACnet Ethernet may be enabled in lieu of BACnet IP.
A simple web page showing airflow and temperature is available on port 80.
The ETHERNET submenu contains the following parameters:
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
IP (IP Address)
MASK (Subnet Mask)
GATE (Network Gateway)
BACNET (BACnet Protocol)
NETID (Device Instance Number)
3.7.1. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol [DHCP]
Enable or disable DHCP.
[Menu path: SETTINGS >↓ ETHERNET > DHCP]
Default: ON
Optional Settings: OFF
When DHCP is ON the IP address, subnet mask and network gateway are automatically set by the DHCP
server and cannot be modified at the transmitter.
3.7.2. IP Address [IP]
The IP address of the transmitter.
[Menu path: SETTINGS >↓ ETHERNET > IP]
Default: 10.0.0.100
Optional Settings: Any valid IP address can be set by the network integrator.
The IP address is required to access Modbus TCP, BACnet IP or the web page. The IP address is not
required for BACnet Ethernet. Use the ↑↓ pushbuttons to set the first octet value. Press ENT to move to the
subsequent octet until all four octets are complete. Press ENT to save.
The IP address can only be changed when DHCP is OFF.
3.7.3. Subnet Mask [MASK]
The subnet mask of the network.
[Menu path: SETTINGS >↓ ETHERNET >↓ MASK]
Default: 255.255.255.0
Optional Settings: Any valid subnet mask can be set by the network integrator.
The subnet mask is required to access Modbus TCP, BACnet IP or the web page. The subnet mask is not
required for BACnet Ethernet. Use the ↑↓ pushbuttons to set the first octet value. Press ENT to move to the
subsequent octet until all four octets are complete. Press ENT to save.
The subnet mask can only be changed when DHCP is OFF.
