PULSATION COMPENSATION TYPE – STARTING FROM FW 5.X

OFF
Compensation is turned off. Motor runs steadily independently of pressure.
Warnings about exceeding pulsation limit are not active. Default value.
LEARNED 0
TMP
Compensation works on learned pump run. Learned process is temporary. By
turning the pump off and on the learned process is canceled.
TMP (Temporary).
Warnings about exceeding pulsation limit are active. Learning process is trying
to find optimal curve of pump rotagion speed, so that pulsation meets the
condition set in Menu/Preferences/Compensation/Pressure pulsation limit.
Pump learning must be started in Menu/Control/Start compens. learning.
LEARNED 1
MEM
Compensation works on learned pump run. Learned process is saved until
new learning under different conditions. MEM (Memory)
Warnings about exceeding pulsation limit are active. Learning process is trying
to find optimal curve of pump rotation speed, so that pulsation meets the
condition set in Menu/Preferences/Compensation/Pressure pulsation limit.
Pump learning must be started in Menu/Control/Start compens. learning.
6.2.4.2. Pressure Pulsation Limit
Pressure pulsation limit can be set in range 0.1 - 5.0 MPa (10 - 730 psi). Default valuve is
1 MPa (150 psi). If the pressure pulsation area width exceeds this limit, a warning is displayed.
6.2.5. Solvents
In each submenu are set possibilities to watch residual volume of mobile phase.
6.2.5.1. Solvents Limit
Limit of mobile phase residual volume can be set in range 1 - 10000 ml. Default value is
100 ml.
6.2.5.2. Solvents Limit Use
In this menu item can be selected desired mode of warning regarding insufficiency of mobile
phase.
MODE OF WARNING ABOUT INSUFFICIENCY OF MOBILE PHASE

AS WARNING
Warning is displayed. Pump continues running.
AS ERROR
An error is evoked and pump stops running and turns to idle status. After
pump restart it is necessary to change the actual volume of residual mobile
phase in Menu/Parameters/Solvents volume or temporarily change the mode
to one of the previous possibilities.
6.2.6. Log Level
In this menu item can be selected basic (NORMAL – default setting) or detailed (DETAILED)
mode of logging unit work. The records can be read only by using PC. Default setting is NORMAL.
