A LIST OF WARNINGS AND ERRORS DURING PROCESS AND AFTER LEARNING PROCESS
LEARNING IN PROGRESS! OPERATE
PUMP STEADILY.
Displays after learning process start.
PRESSURE PULSATION OVER LIMIT!
Pumping continues in learned mode
of compensation. It indicates e.g.
unit aeration or leakage in flow
system. Check the unit according to
instructions in chapter 10.
LEARNING TIME EXCEEDED BASIC
PERIOD! AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUES
TO PROLONGED PERIOD.
Learning process did not complete
within 5 min. It has been prolonged
to 10 min.
PULSATION COMPENSATION WAS
SWITCHED OFF DUE TO ACTUAL FLOW
IS OUTSIDE LEARNED BOUNDS.
After setting flowrate in interval ±
1.66 ml/min of learned flowrate
compensation starts again.
LEARNING PROCEDURE WAS
RESTARTED DUE TO ACTUAL FLOW
CHANGE.
New flowrate value has been set
during learning process.
PUMP IS NOT LEARNED. COMPENSATION
IS SWITCHED OFF!
Proceed compensation learning
process.
LEARNING DID NOT MEET PULSATION
LIMIT WITHIN THE TIME! DATA WERE
ANNULLED.
Operating error. Pumping stops.
Check the unit according to
instructions in chapter 10.
LEARNING WAS INTERRUPTED BECAUSE
OF WORSENING! DATA WERE
ANNULLED.
Operating error. Pumping stops.
Check the unit according to
instructions in chapter 10.
LEARNING WAS INTERRUPTED BECAUSE
NEW FLOW IS TOO LOW! DATA WERE
ANNULLED.
Operating error. Pumping stops.
Raise the flowrate to
0.06 ml/min.
6.3.2. Gradient Program
Note: Gradient program functions is available starting from firmware (FW) verzion 4.x.
Both types of pumps ECP2010 / ECP2010H enable setting of 12 gradient programs directly
in the unit. Programming offers a tool for gradient concentration course control and controlling
mobile phase flowrate in time. Further it is possible to set e.g. high and low pressure limit, different
options of program termination etc.
Mobile phase gradient concentration is changed linearly depending on time between steps.
Contrary to gradient concentration, flowrate change is proceeded immediately in time of given step.
Program enables also step change of concentration (see 6.3.4.3).
Attention: We do not recommend to control the gradient from the pump keyboard and
PC at the same time.
