2.3.2 Mounting
The sampler must be installed on a level surface and must be
securely fixed to the supporting structure. A smooth, sealed concrete
slab is an ideal base. The sampler must be securely bolted through
the sampler feet. Guy wires may be attached to securely hold the
sampler. In either case, the timber base-plate located under the
sampler should be removed during operation, and kept for future
transportation.
Improper fastening of the sampler could result in incorrect readings
and degradation of the equipment. Strong winds could also topple
the sampler and lead to damage.
No warranty claims will be accepted unless the sampler has been
properly secured at the sampling site, and shipped using correct
packing material.
