Please follow the instructions below to replace the internal battery bank. The fol-
lowing applies for the MTX series with 800-2000 VA:
Step 1: Remove the safety plate on
the device base of the UPS.
Step 2: Pull the battery bank slightly
out of the UPS.
Step 3: Open the electrical connec-
tion.
Step 4: Pull the battery bank com-
pletely out of the UPS. The battery
bank trays must be open to replace
the batteries.
Step 5: Slide the new battery bank into
the UPS shaft again and close the
connection.
Step 6: Slide the battery bank com-
pletely into the UPS.
Step 7: Secure the battery bank by
screwing on the safety plate.
