Set Date
To choose the Set Date Command, press the <A> Key, and the
following display is shown: -
The cursor will be blinking at the year field. You may key in the new
value. E.g. 08 and press the <#> Key for the year 2008 or you can just
press the <#> Key to retain the number on display. If you make a
mistake in keying, use the <C> Key to position the cursor 1 space to
the left and key in the new value. When the <#> Key is pressed, the
cursor jumps to the month field. Enter the desired value and press the
<#> Key. Note that you must key in 2 digit numbers. This means
January is entered as 01, February as 02 etc. and not as 1 or 2. After
you have pressed the <#> Key, the cursor will jump to the day field.
Enter the value required and press the <#> Key. Note that if the value
keyed in is incorrect, such as “month” outside the range of 01 to 12 or
“day” outside the range of 01 to 31, the value will not be accepted and
the old value remains. The cursor then jumps to the day of the week
field, which should be entered as follows: -
