EL2315D & EL2316D Door Controller Manual
Revision 1.1.21

When an output point is under Automatic Timer Control, it can still
be overridden by manual control. For example, if output point #1 is
set to "come on" between 0800 and 1200 and again between 1300
and 1600, then if at 0900, it is manually turned OFF; it will remain
OFF until 1300 when Automatic Timer will turn back it on. Similarly,
if the point is also programmed with event control, the occurrence
of specified events will cause the point to turn on.

COMMUNICATION MODE
This command sets the mode of Communication (Stand-alone,
Enquiry, Remote).
The default setting is “Enquiry mode”. In this mode, it is assumed that
you have linked all controllers together via a communication bus to a
PC running an Access Management Software like E.WIN, which allows
you to remotely program and monitor all access functions.
In Stand-alone mode, there is no PC connected. However, you can
connect a printer or terminal to allow the controller to dump out data.
Remote mode is for testing purposes.
The following screen appears when the Communications Mode
Menu is selected: -
ENQR = Enquiry Mode
STAL = Stand-Alone Mode
REML = Remote Mode
By pressing the <D> Key, the setting will switch between the 3
modes. When the desired mode is shown on the screen, press the
<#> Key to accept.
