8 VoIP Subscriber Gateways
INTRODUCTION
Today, VoIP is one of the most rapidly evolving telecommunication services. TAU-4.IP and TAU-
8.IP series gateways (hereinafter the “devices”) are designed to provide VoIP services to the network
subscribers. The devices are produced in various modifications. They differ in a set of interfaces and
functionality.
VoIP subscriber gateways TAU-4.IP and TAU-8.IP allow connecting up to 4 or 8 analogue phones
to packet-based data networks accessible via Ethernet interfaces.
The devices target home users and small offices. They are a perfect solution to provide sparsely
populated areas with telephony.
This operation manual describes intended use, main specifications and rules of configuring,
monitoring and updating of VoIP customer gateways TAU-4.IP and TAU-8.IP.
