Verify the high-availability configuration
Verify your high-availability configuration
Use the server high-availability feature in the Unisphere Server Utility to verify that
your configuration is highly available (each HBA has at least one active path to each
storage processor), and that path management software, such as PowerPath, is
installed and running.
On each server that you plan to connect to the storage system:
1. Start the Unisphere Server Utility.
Start > Programs > EMC > Unisphere > Unisphere Server Utility or Start > All
Programs > EMC > Unisphere > Unisphere Server Utility
2. Select Verify Server High-Availability to generate a report of the host’s
environment.
3. Select the Validate Server Configuration Only option.
4. Review and correct any issues reported under the Issues tab of the generated
report.
