Install the power supply unit outside the hazardous area.
‣
Use a cable that meets the requirements of the zone in which the aluminum field
housing is installed.
‣
Connect the sensor heater inside the aluminum field housing (or another explosion-
proof housing) to the power supply. To do so, install additional terminal blocks on the
DIN rail in the housing.
‣
Prior to opening the aluminum field housing: switch off the power supply to the sensor
heater.
