6.3.7 Synchronization terminal
Using the GSD files
The synchronization terminal must be used if the sensor cables of several transmitters are
routed in parallel. As a result of synchronization, a transmitter cannot receive signals
while another transmitter is transmitting signals. This prevents transmission and
reception signals from mutually influencing one another.
Number of transmitters that can be synchronized
20 (in the case of FMU90/FMU95)
10 (if synchronizing FMU90/FMU95 with FMU86x)
Procedure if synchronizing more than 20 transmitters
Form groups with a maximum of 20 transmitters.
For transmitters within a group, the sensor cables can run in parallel.
The sensor cables of different groups must be separated from one another.
