3.2 Connecting external sensors
If there is a possibility of electrical transients on the signal cables we
would recommend that an overvoltage protection unit is used.
3.2.1 Standard input current/voltage
1. For active current or voltage sources (e.g. transmitters with
their own power supply and active output).
2. For transmitters with passive current or voltage outputs and
external power supply.
Attention:
Terminals 11 and 13 must always be linked when operating on
a current input loop.
If the input is from a voltage source then terminals 11 and 13
must not be linked.
