APTC Thickness Detection Adjustment
Note: Before performing this adjustment, the TOF Sensor Sensitivity Adjustment must be performed.
This adjustment is required if you:
• Replace the Printer Mechanism
• Remove or replace the Carrier Unit
• Replace the ROM Board (only when the EEPROM Data Copy failed)
1. Turn the printer on.
2. If the front paper path is not selected (indicated by a red LED on the Control Panel’s Paper Path Indicator, see
the figure below), depress the Front/Rear button on the Control Panel one (1) time. Verify that the red LED on
the Control Panel’s Paper Path Indicator is lit.
3. Mount one (1) sheet of 18# or 20# pinfeed paper onto the front set of tractors.
4. Load the paper by depressing the LF/FF Load button on the Control Panel one (1) time.
5. Run the DFX-9000 Adjustment Program.
6. Select “DFX-9000” as the “Model Name”.
7. Select “EAI” as the “Destination”.
