25. Using the Microfeed Up and Microfeed Down buttons, change the Platen Gap until the Carriage Assembly
encounters a fair amount of resistance from the paper.
26. Remove the paper from the printer.
27. If the APTC Detection Position required adjustment when 5 sheets of paper were installed in the printer (Step
24), repeat Steps 16 - 25.
28. Press the Pause button on the printer’s Control Panel to register the APTC Detection Position value. The
printer should beep 3 times.
29. Turn the printer off.
