1.1. PRODUCT GENERAL
EMP-9000/8000 MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR designed as the new model of projector is
the brightly with new optical engine to project enhanced color images from the personal
computers CRT and any one of video equipment such as video tape deck, video cam-
corders or digital camera.
FEATURE OF EMP-9000/8000
• Bright and clear Flexible projection image size
The big caliber zoom lens, and the new type of high brightness lamp (class No.1) and
the optical block(220W uHra high efficiency lamp) enable to achieve a wide projection
image from 30" to 300" (projection distance : 1.1 to 15.6 m).
• EMP-9000 : 1700ANSI lm
• EMP-8000 : 2000ANSI lm
• High resolution full color (16770 thousands colors)
EMP-9000(SXGA): 3(R,G.and) of TN liguid crystal panels of 1.398.784 pixel supply
approximatly 4.2 million (1366x1024x3) dots.
EMP-8000(XGA): 3(R,G.and) of TN liguid crystal panels of 786.432 pixel supply
approximatly 2.3 million (1024x768x3) dots.
• The signal to VGA~UXGA is able to be projected full screen with the adoption of Epson
original image compression technology DAR (Digital Active Resizing).
• Standard attachment of remote controller
The projector can be controlled using a handheld remote control unit, with menus
being provided for Image source switching and Image adjustment. The remote control
can also be used as a wireless mouse to control mouse operations on the computer
screen during presentations. The EMP LINK áV software that combines as a stan-
dard accessory of product.
• Connectivity with various computers
The advanced data signal determination function Standard attachments of interface
cables and adapters enables EMP-9000/8000 to connect with various computers such
as IBM-compatible PCs and laptops, Macintosh.
Almost all of the video signals are
available for this.
• Keystone collection by digital processing and optical lens shift.
Contract a upper /lower part of image with smoothing function. The projector for sup-
porting of miscellaneous computer (DOS/V, Mac, PC98) output. No matter what type
of output is used, the result is video image of outstanding clarity.
• 3D sound to (SRS) function
The presentation effect becomes big,become it is able to adjust the extent (SRS
SPACE) and depth (SRS CENTER) of sound.
• Simple Maintenance
The maintenance easy. Number of image adjustment process is not required.
