2.2. Filter unit / Safety switch
The filter unit is the AC (alternating current) inlet and filter circuit Assy and also AC interlock
were incorporated. The safety switch is the thermal switch for the power supply cutoff of case
that became overheat condition.

AC interlock switch cut off the AC power when the lamp cover unit of the main frame back is
removed. The safety switch (the thermostat) is being established on the output of the interlock
switch and be attached in the lamp inner housing area (the lamp unit installation department).
The safety switch shutdown the AC power supply when it becomes over heat condition.
Fuse F101 : malfunction of Overcurrent condition with power supply unit or etc. it
blows the fuse.
EMI filter circuit : Noise removal of the alternating current input.
AC interlock : When remove the lamp cover unit the AC power soutput is shutdown.
(To secure the safety operation at the lamp housing replacement.)
Safety switch

: Overheat condition is presented around the lamp inner housing area,
it shutdown the AC power.
