Caution:
Take care not to cause any shock or mechanical stress to the optical engine and also not to
disassemble it. Otherwise, the pixel divergence may occur.
The alignment adjustment for each other is applied in the factory, and also electrical correction
is applied with Driver board Assy according to the each optical engine. Therefor do not sepa-
rate or exchange the each unit to the others.
Caution:
Intake fan, Light guide unit ,Optical head /Prism unit, Projection lens unit and Driver board
Assy are handle as one parts named Optical engine.

LAMP INNER HOUSING
(Type :EMPLP08)
Include one Discharge Lamp (UHE 220W)as a light source.
FUSE board is mounted for new lamp UNIT detection.
LIGHT GUIDE UNIT Disperse the light from the light source and uniform by the multi lens. (Ultraviolet ray
also eliminated by UV filter.)
Disperse the light in three (R/G/B) factors, with CDM filter, condensor lens and mirror.
OPTICAL HEAD/
PRISM UNIT
Consist of three light valves, polarization plate and prism unit.
Each light valve controls shutter of pixels with 256 levels.
Prism unit composes R/G/B optical signals and transfers to the projection lens unit.
PROJECTION
LENS UNIT
Manual zooming and focus adjustment, the image is projected.
LENS SHIFT MECHANI-
CAL UNIT
Rate up and down the projection lens unit (Adjust the keystone corection ration).
