• Projector control
The function that controls the driver board, video boards, audio boards, etc.
• Digitalization control of the input picture signal
The function that transforms the picture signal that is input from PC/Video digital from the
analogue.
• Definition transformation control by the digital filter of the input picture signal
The function that transforms the picture signal that is input from PC/Video definition with
the digital filter.
• Frequency transformation control of the input picture signal
The function that transforms the picture signal that is input from PC/Video into the LCD
drives picture signal frequency.
• Y/C separation control of the video picture
The function that separates a various composite video picture signal with digital Y/C.
• On screen display function
The function that displays the menu, EMP link function etc. overlay into the input picture
signal.
• Remote control
The function that receives the remote control signal and do decodes and control the
peripheral circuit by the result.
• Mouse control
The function that transforms the pointer information in the remote control signal into each
mouse signals of PS/2, ADB, 98 buses, serial and transmit to PC.
• Lamp control
The function that controls ballast and do the illumination control of the lamp.
• LED control
The function that controls various kinds of Indicator of the operation, temperature, lamps.
• Cooling control
The function that measures temperature and control the turn of the fan by the temperature
condition.
• Power supply control
The power supply control function corresponding to low consumption electric power-iza-
tion.
• PC serial interface function
The function that does the projector control, download, upload from PC by ESC/VP, by
having the interface with RS-232 C.

• 3D-Y/C separation department (Main device 3D Y/C Comb Filter :TC90A28F9)
It is the Y signals and C signal separation function by 3 dimension the composite signal of
the NTSC picture signal.
• Digital chroma decoder department (Main device Digital Video Decoder :SAA7114)
The function that transforms the composite/YC analogue picture signal of NTSC/PAL/
SECAM picture signal, into the digital brightness signal (Y, U, V) then do brightness and
contrast adjustment.
• Analogue color difference-RGB transformation department
(Main device Analog Video Decoder :TA1270)
The function that transforms analogue Y/Cr/Cb picture signal, into the analogue RGB pic-
ture signal.
• Analog-to-digital conversion department (Main device Video ADC :AD9483)
The function that converts the analogue RGB picture signal from PC, analogue Y/Cr/Cb
picture signal to the digital signal (RGB8:8:8).
