• The EEPROM and timer circuit provided the operating time control of the lamp inner hous-
ing. It’s operation is described below.
If the above condition is observed, it is necessary to replace the lamp inner housing. After
the lamp inner housing replacement, turn on the power and lamp on, the fuse for detect
new lamp involved in the lamp inner housing will melt and short out so that lamp timer will
be reset automatically.
• Three of thermistors (LV / PBS / LAMP) detect the temperature of each area. The CPU
watches thermistor signal every 100ms, then controls the fan and lamp based on these
temperature condition.
• Five of temperature sensor circuits is equipped in order to prevent overheat on the main
board Assy. If the section is more than certain degrees, the circuit interrupt to the CPU,
then indicate warning message on the temperature indicator, change the fan rotation, bal-
last to light source and shut the power supply regulation etc..
• Mouse / Com interface is multi interface (Mouse / RS-232C) used at link set operations. It
is used following (1-3) operations are given.
1) When the remote controller use as the wireless remote controller of the computer con-
nected.
2) When option remote control receiver to the “Remote“ interface, and use as the wireless
remote controller of the computer connected.
3) When link set (DOS/V, Mac, 98) are used to adjust display and draw fixed form figure or
line etc..
• The “Main Cable” of link set accessary is connected to Mouse / Com interface.
EMP-9000/8000 side of main cable is jack connector(13 pin), another side (the side con-
nected to the computer) is equipped three correctors.
These three connector are equipped in order to cope with type of each computer (Dos/V,
MAC, 98) and type of each mouse (Serial, PS/2).

The projection screen continues to flash the mes-
sage(Exchange Lamp) in red for 30 seconds after it is
turned or and the lamp indicator blink in orange.
