1.5.3 Bi-d. Adjustment
Bi-d. adjustment can be adjusted by users. Refer to 5.2.4 "Bi-D Adjustment" for Bi-d.

1.5.4 EEPROM Initialization Method
Reboot with ¨¨¨ PAUSE SW + LOAD/EJECT SW + LF/FF SW pressed, EEPROM is
initialized.
Reboot with
¨¨¨ TEAR OFF/BIN SW + LOAD/EJECT SW pressed, the memory area of
the accumulative printed columns for ribbon replacement is cleared.
1.5.5 Initialization
o Power-on initialization
The initialization of this level is activated by power-on or cold-reset command
(remote RS command).
This initialization is;
n to initialize the printer mechanism.
n to execute Operator initialization.
o Operator initialization
The initialization of this level is activated by -INT signal (negative pulse).
This initialization is;
n to clear the all buffers of data.
n to cancel the printer stand-by state, if no errors occur.
n to execute Software initialization.
o Software initialization
The initialization of this level is activated by the control code ESC@.
This initialization is;
n to clear the unprinted data.
n to make the printer’s setting defaults.
o Initialization by control panel operation
The printer is initialized by pressing Font switch and Condensed switch at the
same time.
This initialization is;
n to clear the all buffers of data.
n to clear the unprinted data.
n to make the printer’s setting defaults.
