4.2 Disassembly and Assembly
This section describes procedures for disassembling the main components of the printer.
The basic order for disassembly is shown in the following flowchart. Exploded diagrams in
APPENDIX show how each component fit together. Refer to them as needed.

CAUTION
n Before disassembling any parts of the printer, note the warnings
in 4.1.1 "Disassembly Precautions".
n Make sure to remove any cables and the accessories attached to
the printer, such as the ribbon cartridge, the sheet guide, the
platen knob, from the printer before disassembly.
