Upgrading from Windows 98 to Windows 2000
If EPSON TWAIN is already installed, you need to uninstall it,
upgrade the system to Windows 2000, and then re-install it, as
follows:
1. Uninstall EPSON TWAIN. See Uninstalling EPSON
TWAIN on page 6-19.
2. After uninstalling EPSON TWAIN, turn off the computer and
unplug the scanner, and then disconnect the scanner from the
computer.
3. Turn on the computer and install Windows 2000.
4. Connect the scanner and install EPSONTWAIN followingthe
instructions in your Startup Guide.
Uninstalling EPSON TWAIN
1. Connect the scanner to the computer. Plug in the scanner then
turn on the computer.
2. Click Start and point to Settings,thenselectControl Panel.
3. Double-click the Scanners and Cameras icon.
4. Select your scanner from the installed devices list, then click
Remove.
5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
