Note:
Do not hold the stop button for more than three seconds, or the printer may start cleaning
the print head.
Caution:
Do not move the print head by hand; otherwise, you may damage the printer.
4. Squeeze the tab on the cartridge and lift the cartridge straight up to remove it. Dispose of it
carefully. Do not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it.
Warning:
If ink gets on your hands, wash them thoroughly with soap and water. If ink gets into your
eyes, flush them immediately with water.
5. Before opening the new cartridge package, shake it gently four or five times.
Caution:
Do not shake the cartridges after opening the packages, or ink may leak.
6. Remove the cartridge from the package.
Caution:
Do not touch the green chip on the cartridge. Install the new cartridge immediately after
removing the old one; if you don’t, the print head may dry out and be unable to print.
