Media Sensor Error
Loaded media or sensor has a
problem.
Press the pause/cancel button to clear the message.
The Auto Media Adjust, Auto Nozzle Check, and Media Adjust
settings in Easy Media Setup are not available under the following
conditions:
• Loaded media is transparent or colored
• Loaded media has an uneven surface
• Loaded media bleeds through easily
• Platen Gap setting is set to 2.5
• The printer is exposed to direct sunlight or interference from other
ambient light sources
If necessary, set the Auto Media Adjust, Auto Nozzle Check, and
Media Adjust settings manually.

Roll Type Error
Release and then reset the
media loading lever, then match
Roll Type setting to actual
media.
Make sure the Roll Type setting matches the loaded roll type.
Press maintenance and
perform Head Maintenance.
This message is displayed when regular cleaning has not been
performed for more than one month.
3 layer printing is only available
with 2 Head Mode
Set the product to use both print heads (SC-S60600/S80600 only)
by selecting 2 Heads Mode as the Head Mode setting in the Printer
Setup menu.
