Network Connection Check
Printing a Network Connection Check Report
Print a network connection check report to check whether the printer is properly connected to a network or
not.

Print the status sheet.
"Printing a Status Sheet" on page 79

Press the Feed button briefly (less than one second) twice.
"Network connection check report" is selected in the setting menu.

Hold down the Feed button for at least one second.
The network connection check report is printed.
List of Errors
Error Number Explanation

Ethernet disconnect error Confirm that the network cable is connected and network devices such as hub, router,
or access point are turned on.

Wi-Fi security error Security mode (e.g. WEP, WPA) does not match the current setting of the printer.
Confirm security mode.

MAC Address filtered MAC address of your printer may be filtered.
Check whether your wireless router has restrictions such as MAC address filtering.
See the documentation of the wireless router or contact your network administrator
for assistance.

Incorrect IP Address Incorrect IP address is assigned to the printer.
Confirm IP address setup of the network device (hub, router, or access point).
9 IP Communication error Confirm the connection and network setup of the PC or other device.
10 NW setting error Confirm IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway setup.
11 Gateway setting error Setup is incomplete. Confirm default gateway setup.
