Ensure helmet has both an outside and inner lens. Replace if damaged or obscured by spatter.
Remove protective films from the Front Spatter Lens before first use of the SAVAGE A40 helmet.
Set the shade level by turning the knob on the outside of the helmet.
Switch between Welding and Grind modes by pressing the shade knob for 2 seconds.
