The Argus database contains intersections. They can be
turned on and off in a group, and by category (see
AMEND.) Intersections are positions in space; they
have no physical reality. As such, when SELected for
INFO display, their type, e.g., STAR, IAP, etc, along
with their position is shown. They are depicted on the
map as small triangles.
Other Map Objects
Of course, airports, VORs, NDBs, are also shown on the
moving map. They are discussed with examples
elsewhere in this manual. You also have the capability of
creating your own map objects, USER Waypoints and
Flightplans. They are covered in detail in the
flightplanning section.
