Always maintain the fuel injection
pump
airvent plug closed, except
when
draining.
The
engine
may
suddenly cut out
if
the plug
is
open.
GREASE
Before injecting lubricating grease in the grease nipples, clean carefully to prevent, mud, dust or other foreign
bodies mixing in the grease thereby reducing or even cancelling out lubrication
properties.
Regularly grease the forklift to ensure
it is
effec-
tive and
extend its life. Inject lubricating grease via
the grease nipples
using a
pump.
Stop greasing as soon as fresh grease appears in
the
filling holes.
Greasing points are indicated in the following
figures:

ENGINE AIR FILTER
Clean the engine air filter on a daily basis and replace the cartridge if necessary. Clean or replace the air filter cartridge

Cut the engine and set the parking
brake.
