ENGINE COOLANT CIRCUIT
Consult the “LIQUIDS
AND
LUBRICANTS”
section of this Manual for the specifications of
the
coolant liquid to be used.
Never remove the tank plug if the engine is hot. Wait until the engine is cold.
Wait for
approximately 20 minutes.
COOLANT LEVEL

Upper radia to rcap. Check via the tank.
(D)
Reservoir
Lift the cover.
With the
forklift
on a
level
surface, the
liquid
must be between the MIN. and MAX.
levels
marked onthe tank.
When checking the level at a temperature lower than 20°C (68°F), the level may be below the
MIN mark.
Add
coolant up to
MAX.
mark
if
required. Never exceed the
maximum
level.
Use a funnel to avoid
spills.
Place
and
tighten
the
filling
cap
correctly
and
close
the
cover
.
A cooling system which requires coolant frequently indicates that there are leaks or engine prob-
lems. See an
authorized ERT1500 dealer.
RADIATOR FINS
Periodically check the radiator area for its cleanliness.
Inspect the radiator fins. They must be clean, free of mud, dirt,leaves or any other deposit that
