Clean the base and cover the seal joint of the new filter element with clean oil.

Fill the new filter cartridge with clean hydraulic fluid.
6.
Screw in the
filter
element once again and tighten by hand, do not use mechanical tools.
Take particular care when tightening the
filter
cartridge in its support because
if it
is incor- rectly tightened,
it
could
cause the suction circuit to take in external air causing transmission failure.
Clean any oil spillage.
Start the engine and leave running idle for a few minutes. Stop the engine.
Wait for a few seconds and then check the level of hydraulic fluid. Refill if necessary.
Dispose
of the
fluid
and
filter
cartridge
in
authorized centres
.
Hydraulic fluid filter cartridges cannot be re-used after washing under any circumstances.
They must be replaced by new cartridges of the type recommended by the manufacturer (see
paragraph
4.5.2.2).
Drain oil while hot and contamination is in suspension.

Frequently check the level and

Do
not exceed the
maximum
level.
Operating the engine with an inappropriate
oil level
could
severely damage the engine. Clean any
spills.
With the vehicle on a level surface and the engine stopped and cold,
check the oil
level in the following way.

To
avoid personal injury:

Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key before checking the belt
·
Be sure to
reinstall all
components already removed after maintenance or cheking.
