Separate the trim/tilt unit wires in the braided tube
to permit removal through the hole in the stern
bracket.
Unscrew the manual release valve, raise the unit,
and lock it in place with the tilt support.
Remove the ground wire from the trim/tilt unit.
Remove the external snap rings from the upper
pin.
Use a punch to remove the upper pin.
Retract the tilt cylinder rod.
Remove the external snap rings from the lower
pin.
