properengagementanddisengagement.Readjust
ifnecessary.Whenthebrakesaredisengaged,
thereshouldbelittletonofreeplayinthebrake
linkagewithnodragginginthebrakes.
ReverseStopRod
Adjustment
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.
2.Engagetheparkingbrakeandcheckthe
movementofthesteeringlevers:
•Iftheleversmoveslightlyforward(upto1/8
inch(3mm)thennoadjustmentisnecessary.
•Iftheleversdonotmove,thenproceedwith
thefollowingsteps:
A.Flipuptheseatorremovetheseatframe
assembly(withtheseatattached)toobtain
aclearviewofthesteeringcontrolshaftto
completethisadjustment.
B.Placethespeedcontrolleverintheneutral
position.
C.Releasetheparkbrake.
D.Slightlyadjustthelengthoftherodby
looseningthejamnutandbyrotatingthe
rod.
