Cleanalldebrisfrominsideofpumpdrivebelt
compartmentdaily.
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromrotatingengineairintake
screenandfromaroundengineshroudingand
exhaustsystemarea.
3.Cleanalldebrisfromaroundengine,drivebelts,
andexhaustsystemarea.
RemoveEngineShroudsand
CleanCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every80hours
1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Removecoolingshroudclean-outcoversfrom
engineandcleancoolingns.Alsocleandust,
dirt,andoilfromexternalsurfacesofengine,
whichcancauseimpropercooling.
3.Makesurecoolingshroudclean-outcoversare
reinstalled.Operatingtheenginewithoutcooling
shroudclean-outcoverswillcauseenginedamage
duetooverheating.
4.ForKohlerEFIunits:Swingoutthefueltank
andremovedebrisfromaroundtheoilcooler
positionedatrightfrontcornerofengine.
