9.6. Calibrating Gas Detectors
Gas detectors (if fitted) should be calibrate at the intervals specified by their manufacturers and in
accordance with their guidelines (Reference 7).
Gas detectors are located within a robot's hull. Theyre usually accessible by removing the top panel
of the hull, although in certain cases, it may also be necessary to remove the right hand side panel
and/or the back panel as described in Section 9.4. The orientation of the gas sensors may differ
depending on the additional options that have been installed. These pictures depict two examples.
