Extinguishing Gas Delay
When a fire event is registered, the Alarm status is set and the Alarm relay is closed. After the relay
has closed, there is a delay before the first gas generator is initiated. This delay can be set using DIP
switches 4 and 5.
The delay needs to be optimized to allow time for ventilation fans or air conditioning to reach a
standstill; thus, maximizing the effectiveness of nitrogen flooding (by avoiding further introduction of
fresh oxygen-rich air).
