1.4.5 Basic settings for fieldbus communication
The following basic fieldbus communication settings must be
made using the DI L switches on the bus node
( followi ng secti o ns):
– EtherCAT address (“stati o n number”, optio nal)
– Diagnostic functionality (transmission of diagnostic
information as emergency messages (EM) into the
diagnostic history)
– Fai l state mode
To set the DIL switches, you must remove the cover.
