Specifications for setting the parameters
In order to set the parameters, you will require the following
specifications:
– Cylinder stroke length (see type plate for drive used).
– Valve type (see type plate for proportional directional
control valve used).
– Maximum mass load with which the drive is loaded.
Mass load
If you wish to position with different masses:
– Positioning with a mass up to 30 % less does not usually
present any problems. Further reduction of the mass can
lead to worse positioning behaviour and make optimiz-
ation necessary (see S ystem manual).
– If necessary, place a basic load on the drive, in order to be
able to set a higher mass. Positioning can then be carried
out with masses of larger sizes.
– Always set the amplification and cushioning stages for the
maximum mass load used.
