3.6 THREADING THE MODEL F
1. Disconnect the MODEL F from the
electrical supply.
2. To install a new cone of thread, push the
thread clamping bolt through the hole at
the top of the cone and securely lock it in
position with the wing nut. (Illustration
2) The cone must not be able to rotate or
wobble on the thread stand.
3. Follow Illustrations 3 and 4 to properly
lead the thread through the machine.
4. Check that the thread passes around the
tension disk properly. (Illustration 4)
Do NOT wind the thread around the disk
more than what is shown.
5. Let the thread stick out 2” (51 mm) on the
output side of the machine.
3.6 Ensartando la MODELO F
1. Desconecte la MODELO F de la
corriente eléctrica.
2. Para instalar un nuevo cono de hilo
empuje el perno de agarre del hilo a
través del hueco en el borde superior
del cono y asegúrelo en posición con
la tuerca mariposa (Ilustración 2).
El cono debe quedar fijo, sin ninguna
posibilidad de rotar o tambalear en el
soporte de hilo.
3. Siga las Ilustraciones 3 y 4 para
colocar apropiadamente el hilo a
través de la máquina.
4. Revise que el hilo pase
correctamente a través del disco de
tensión (Ilustración 4). NO enrolle
el hilo en el disco más de lo que se
muestra.
5. Permita que el hilo sobresalga 2" (51
mm) en el lado de salida de la
máquina.
