5. MAINTENANCE,
REPLACEMENT AND
ADJUSTMENTS
5.1 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
DAILY
1. Keep the machine free of dust and dirt.
2. Fill the oil reservoir with Fischbein #5-100
Lubricating Oil. Wipe all excess oil from
parts.
3. Check for loose fasteners and tighten. If
the loose fastener holds a specific
component in place that has a critical
setting, refer to the appropriate section of
this manual to establish the correct
setting.
WEEKLY
OIL
1. Fill a small tank with
cleaning lubricant (#5-101)
up to 2 inches (51mm)
maximum.
2. Remove the thread from the
machine.
3. Remove looper cover of the
machine and the belt pulley
cover and handle.

5.1 Mantenimiento de Rutina
A DIARIO
1. Mantenga la máquina limpia de polvo
y mugre.
2. Lléne el tanque de aceite con Aceite
Lubricante Fischbein #5-100. Limpie
todo exceso de aceite de las partes.
3. Revise pernos sueltos y apriételos. Si
el perno que está suelto sujeta un
componente crítico, refiérase a la
sección apropiada de éste manual
para establecer la fijación correcta.
SEMANALMENTE
ACEITE
1. Lléne un recipiente
pequeño con un máximo de 2
pulgadas de aceite limpiador
(#5-101) hasta (51mm).
2. Retire el hilo de la
máquina.
3. Retire la cubierta del
ojo-guía de la máquina y la
cubierta de la polea y mango.

4. Coloque la máquina
verticalmente dentro del
aceite, de manera que éste
llegue al nivel de la placa de
garganta (Ilustración 18).
