5.7 LOOPER
MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the fasteners for the looper
assembly. To tighten fasteners that involve
critical settings, refer to the section in this
manual that describes the adjustments.
REPLACING A LOOPER
1. Unplug the machine and place it on a
workbench in the position shown by the
system illustration, page 10.
2. Raise the presser foot using the lift lever
(Illustration 24, page 30).
3. Rotate the machine pulley manually
until the feed dog is at its lowest
position. You may wish to remove the
pulley cover. (Illustration 21, page 28)
4. Remove the needle for safety. (Section
5.9, page 40)
5. Remove the looper cover. (Illustration
25, page 30)
6. Remove the throat plate.
7. Remove the feed dog by removing the
socket cap screw. (Illustration 26, page
31)
8. Remove the looper from
the looper holder by
loosening the set screw

5.7 Ojo Guía
MANTENIMIENTO
Revise periódicamente los pernos del
conjunto del ojo guía. Para apretar los
pernos que impliquen manejo especial,
refiérase al manual en la sección que
describe los ajustes.
REMPLAZANDO EL OJO GUIA
1. Desconecte la máquina y colóquela
en una banca de trabajo en la
posición que se muestra en la
ilustración del sistema, página 10.
2. Eleve el pie prensador utilizando la
palanca (Ilustración 24. Página 30).
3. Rote la polea de la máquina
manualmente hasta que el
alimentador dentado se encuentre
en su posición mas baja. Si desea
remueva la cubierta de la polea.

4. Retire la aguja para más seguridad.(
sección 5.9, página 40)
5. Retire la cubierta del ojo guía.
(Ilustración 25, página 30)
6. Retire la placa de garganta.
7. Remueva el
alimentador dentado
quitando el tornillo cabeza
de encaje. (Ilustración 26,
página 31).
8. Retire el ojo guía de su
soporte aflojando el juego
de tornillos (A).
