6.6 Electrical Installation
Theprovisionofpowersupply,(protective)groundwireconnectionandlineprotectionmustbemadeinaccordancewiththe
regulationsoftheresponsiblepowercompanyandtheapplicablestandards.Therequiredinformationcanbefoundonthetype
plateofthecontrolunit,theterminalplan(labelling)andinAppendix3.
ThemainsconnectiontobeprovidedviaaCEEplug/socketcombinationwithload-switchingability.Itshouldbeasnap-ontype,
toavoidunintendeddisconnections.Forunitswithatotalratedpowerabove3kW(seeAppendix3)werecommendinterlocking
thiscombinationwithacombinedswitchsothatpluggingordisconnectingisonlypossibleiftheswitchisintheOFFposition.
Theseparatorshouldbemarkedaccordingly,easytohandleandplacedappropriatelyinthevicinityoftheunit.
Hint: installequipotentialbondingbetweenearthconnectionandequipotentialbondingconductor.Theminimumdiameter,
qualityandtypeofthepowercablesshouldapplytotheon-siteapplicablerulesandregulationsforthisapplication.The
electricalcontrolterminalsmustbeconnectedattheset-uplocationtothemainspowersupplyattherelevantoperatingvoltage.
Thenishedsystemallowstheusertoprogramthecongurationandsystem-dependentparametersintothecontrolunit.
