Measurements
Common measurement procedures are discussed in this section.
Connect to the Circuit Under Test
XW Warning
To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury:
Remove all power from the circuit under test and
discharge circuit capacitance before testing a
circuit with the Tester.
Connect the common test lead before the live test
lead and remove the live test lead before the
common test lead.
Before and after testing, confirm that the Tester
does not indicate the presence of a hazardous
voltage, see Figure 4. If the Tester beeps
continuously and a hazardous voltage is shown
on the display, remove power from the circuit
under test and disconnect test leads.
