► Connect the cables to the hard disk drive.
► Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").

It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
Installing a hard disk drive
► Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").
► Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging.
► Make the required settings (e.g. master/slave, cable select) on the drives.
► Disconnect all connected cables (data cable, power supply) from any drives already installed.

► Unscrew the two screws (1) on the drive cage.
► Pull the drive cage upward (2) out of the casing.
► Slide the hard disk drive into the drive cage.

► Tighten the new hard disk drive on the drive cage with four screws (4).
► Push the drive cage into the bracket (5) of the casing again.
► Mount the drive cage with the two screws (6).
► Connect the cables to the hard disk drive.
