► Place the drive cover on the casing (1).
► Slide the d rive cov
er downwards (2) so that the drive cover c licks into the catches.
► If nece ssary, make the required settings on the remaining hard disk drives.
► If you are not inst
alling a new drive, reinstall the cover (optional) which was
previously remov
ed. The drive bay must b e closed off to ensure cooling, to protect
against fire and t
o prevent the entry of foreign bodies.
► Close the casing (see "
Closing the casing", Page 35).
It may be necessary t o modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
Installing/removing a 3½" reader in a 3½" bay
(optional, SmartCard or MultiCard)
You can for instance install a SmartCard or MultiCard reader in the 3½" drive bay. The
reader is mounted onto a mo dule holder when installed in the casing.
SmartCard or MultiCard readers can be mounted on a module holder (optional).
If you have ord ered a device with a SmartCard or MultiCard reader, the module
holder, SmartCard or MultiCard reader are already built in on delivery.
If you have ordered a device without a SmartCard or MultiCard reader, a
blind cover is insta lled instead of the module holder.
