When installing and operating th
e device, please observe the notes on
environmental conditions in Cha
pter "
Tec hnical speci cation", Page 45 as well
as the instructions in Chapter "
Getti ng sta rted", Page 11.
When setting up the device, make s
ure there is clearance all aroun d it so that
the casing receives enough ven
tilation. In order to avoid overheating, do not
cover the ve ntilation areas o
f the monitor or the device.
You must only operate the devic
e if the rated voltage used by the
device is set to the local main
s voltage.
Check the rated voltage set for
this device (see "
Getti ng st arted", Page 11).
The main s w i t ch (if prese nt) an
d the ON/OFF switch do not disconnect the
device from the mains v oltage.
To completely disconnect from the mains
voltage, remove the power pl
ug from the power socket.
Replace the lithium battery
on the mainboard in accordan ce with the instructions
in "
Repla cing the lithi um ba
ttery", Page 44.
Caution, compon ents in the s
ystem can get very hot.
The activities described in t
hese instructions must always be
performed with the greatest
care.
Repairs to the device must onl
y be carried out by qualied technicians. Incorre ct
repairs could put th e user a
t great risk (electric shock, hazardous energy emissions,
risk of re) or cause seriou
s damage to the equipment.
Transporting the device

Transport a ll parts separa tely in their original packaging or in a packaging which
protects them from knocks and jolts, to the new site.
Do not unpack them until all transportation ma noeuvres are completed.
If the device is brought from a cold environment into the room whe re it will be used,
condensation may occur. Before operat ing the device, wait until it is absolutely dry
and has reached approximately the same temperature as the installation site.
