The indicators are on the front of the casing. Which indicators a re available on your
device depends on the configuration level you have selected.

The indicator lights up when the device’s hard disk is accessed.

In energy-saving mode, th e device must not be switched off with the main power sw itch
(if present) or disconnected from the mains, a s this may result in data loss.
• The indicator is green: the device is on.
• Indicator ligh ts up orange or flashes g reen (depending on the type of device): Device is in
power-saving mode. A fter being switched on with the On/Off switch, the device switches
on or returns to the state it was in before it went into power-saving m ode.
• The indicator is not illuminated : The device is switched off (power switch set to 0 or disconnect ed
from the mains) or ready. If the device is ready it can be switched on with the O N/O F F switch.
Floppy disk indicator (optiona l)
Floppydisk drive,
The indicator lights up when the device’s floppy disk drive is accessed. You may
only remove the floppy disk when the indicator is not on.
