The Security menu in BIOS Setup offers you various options for protecting y our
personal data against una uthorized access, e.g.:
• Preventing una uthorised access to BIOS Setup
• Preventing unauthorised system access
• Preventing unauthorised access to the settings of board s with their own BIOS
• Preventing system boot from the floppy disk drive
• Issuing virus warnings
• Preventing unauthorized writing of floppy disks
• Protecting BIOS from overwriting
• Protecting the device from being switched on by an external device
